When you think about selling something to a gold buyer for cash, you might think about bringing in necklaces, rings, and other jewelry. Of course, if you have unwanted gold jewelry, you should know that selling it to a gold buyer is a good way to get rid of it and to get cash for it at the same time. However, you should also know that jewelry is not the only type of item that you can sell to a gold buyer. Since the gold will be melted down, you do not have to worry about bringing in attractive jewelry, in order to get cash. In fact, you don't even have to bring jewelry at all. These are a few non-jewelry items that you can sell to a gold buyer, if you would like to put some cash in your pocket.

1. Dental Fillings

Dental fillings are made out of all sorts of materials, including porcelain and gold. Obviously, it's probably not a good idea to try to remove your existing dental fillings so that you can sell them for cash. If you do have old fillings that you aren't using anymore, however, you can definitely consider selling them to a gold buyer for cash. Then, you can get back some of the money that you might have spent on the fillings when you went to the dentist.

2. Gold Coins

Many people collect coins because they hope that they will be valuable one day. Unfortunately, a lot of old coins aren't exactly rare, but this does not mean that they aren't valuable. Even though you might not really be able to sell your gold coins to a coin collector for a large sum, you could be able to sell them to a gold buyer. Even if the gold coins are not unique, the gold buyer should be willing to give you cash for them, if they are made out of real gold. Then, you'll have money to spend on more coins, or anything else that you might want.

3. Gold Knick-Knacks

If you have any solid gold knick-knacks, medallions, or other similar items around your home, you should know that you may be able to sell them to a gold buyer. Even if they are outdated and even if you don't like the way that they look, you might like the cash payment that you will get for them, if you sell them to a gold buyer.

As you can see, you don't necessarily have to have gold jewelry, in order to get cash from a gold buyer. If you have any or all of these things, you can consider taking them to a gold buyer, as well, for cash.
